Training the mental game gives athletes the confidence they need to compete and ‘go big’ when it counts- like at tryouts!

At every level, all athletes face similar challenges:

  • Recovering from mistakes

  • Feeling anxious

  • Fear of failure

  • Negative self-talk

  • Expectations

  • and more


The athletes who have the mental training and tools needed to navigate and handle these things are those who always walk away with a competitive advantage when it counts.

Training will be facilitated by Coach Ann Rivera

  • 25 years of coaching experience

  • ​Has run tryouts and participated as a coach for many tryouts

  • Full scholarship D1 player

  • Former professional volleyball player indoor and beach

  • 15 years of facilitating mindset trainings for athletes

When: For 12U-14U Wed. Nov 1st 4-6 pm
For 15-18U Fri. Nov.3rd, 4-6 pm
FYI* I will start at 4:15 for Friday group but arrive anytime between 4-4:15 to allow for getting across town. I will finish at 6:15

What: 2 hours of specific mindset tools and strategies for tryouts. Snacks and refreshments included
How much: $50

*$25 for siblings. 1 scholarship available per session
